Shower Head Size:

If you're looking to replace your shower head, it's important to choose the right size. Looking at the shower head from the end, measure its diameter and make a note of the corresponding size.

If you don't have that handy, use a tape measure to determine the correct diameter for your shower head. Once you have determined the correct diameter, you can start removing the old shower head. To do this, first, turn off the water supply to your shower and wait for it to fully drain.

Once it has been drained, grab hold of the showerhead and twist it counterclockwise until it breaks free. After that, remove it and clean off any debris with a rag or sponge. Next, apply a thin layer of plumbers putty along the top of your new showerhead and press it into place.

Finally, snap on your new shower head, making sure it is properly seated.

Shower Head Shape:

Shower heads come in a variety of shapes and sizes. The most common shower heads include single, adjustable, massage, rain, and handheld. Single shower heads have one spray pattern, adjustable shower heads have multiple spray patterns, massage shower heads have high-pressure sprays, and rain shower heads feature multiple nozzles. Handheld shower heads attach to a hose and help you reach hard-to-reach places. They allow for different water flows for a more customized experience. They also have knobs, buttons, or levers that adjust the spray pattern and temperature of the water from their head.

Different types of shower faucets also vary based on features such as the length of the spout or the angle of the spray. Shower faucets are available with built-in showerheads or with a hose attachment to make them easy to install. Many faucet styles also come in solid finishes or with accessories such as showerheads or gels that add style and function to your bathroom.

The type of showerhead you choose should match the needs of your bathroom and lifestyle. You can find showerheads that provide various sprays for different water experiences or those with extra features like massage functions. Whatever type you choose, you can rely on faucet technology to create a soothing shower environment fit for any occasion.

Lever Handle:

Lever handle shower heads are attached to the shower head and can be used to adjust the spray pattern and temperature of the water. They are a type of shower diverter valve, which can be used to divert water from a bathtub faucet to a showerhead. Tub & Shower Faucet Trim can be used to control volume in addition to the shower diverter valve. Other showerheads such as rain shower heads, handheld wands, and control knobs can all be used to further customize the shower experience. Lever handle shower heads are a popular option for both aesthetic and practical reasons, as they look sleek and modern while also providing functionality and ease of use.
